Customers
sometimes face difficulties when disposing of used grinding
wheels. Some consign disposal to industrial disposal companies
as industrial waste, while others want to recycle them
for environmental reasons.
To meet such demands, Mitsui Grinding Wheel applied to
the Ministry of the Environment for approval under the
“Wide Area Certification System”, and now actively recycles
waste grinding wheels, thus contributing to an environment-friendly
society. |

*Wide area certification
system:
This system encourages appropriate disposal of wastes, including
reduction in quantity, by entrusting the disposal of a broad
range of discarded products to the companies that manufacture,
process, or sell them, without having to obtain approval
from the relevant local public bodies having jurisdiction
under the Waste Disposal and Public Cleaning Law. |
|
 |
 |
 |
These
wastes are usually products manufactured by the certified
businesses themselves but, depending on the content of wastes,
it may be permitted to dispose of products manufactured
by other companies in the same or different industries. |
