Mitsui's CBN & Diamond Wheels for All Grinding Processes
CBN and Diamond wheels are able to meet the high-precision grinding requirements of a wide range of materials: CBN wheels are suitable for hard-to-grind ferrous materials such as high-speed steel, dies steel; and Diamond wheels are suitable for non-ferrous metals, ultra-hard materials, cermet, ceramics, sapphire glass, etc.

The abrasive grain layer is formed in a uniform structure without any seam to the body, thus ensuring excellent grinding performance in stable conditions.The ease of dressing is superior to that of conventional high concentration type wheels, so the end user, by changing the dressing conditions, can adjust the grinding characteristics, such as placing more emphasis on the cutting sharpness or on the surface finish.
 
CBN wheels are widely used for the high-precision end/surface grinding of ferrous materials such as transmission and other automobile parts,and Diamond wheels are widely used for the high-precision end/surface grinding of non-ferrous materials, ceramics and silica glass materials.
 
Vitrified bond and other types of wheels are widely used for the internal grinding of compressor cylinders, and high-precision internal grinding of automobile parts and bearings. Compared to general-purpose grinding wheels, the CBN Diamond wheel achieves higher machining precision and dramatically extends the interval between dressing. We manufacture various types of products ranging from wheel elements to shaft or quill inserted wheels.
 
Resinoid types are used for various applications ranging from rough grinding to finishing process,and vitrified types are mainly used for high-precision applications.
